Where do you get these materials?

On the mkII there are two locators for holding on the hood, which should have a
soft spacer material between the body and the locator, likewise with the boot
hinges, and the speedo and tacho.  It may be rubber, or something more exotic. 
Any idea if I can get this stuff uncut?  and if so, where from?  I'm not
holding out much hope at finding these parts pre-cut.
