Greetings from Birmingham, Alabama... center of mandatory air
conditioning.

You probably have a slow leak on the low pressure side of the
Refrigerant line.  I had the same problem with my Jeep and replaced the
refrigerant every year until the EPA prohibited leaks of any kind.

Replace the refrigerant and you should be fine for at least another
year.
