RE: 79 Spit Interior Windshield frame Vinyl Coating?

I tried the thin vinyl from a fabric store and it didn't last too long.
It would be better to go to an automotive upholstery shop and get a
piece of automotive vinyl. Automotive vinyl will stand up to the wear
and tear a lot better and still look great and doesn't cost too much
more.
