Does the parking brake cable mechanism actuate BOTH
rear brake shoes (within each drum) or only ONE of the
shoes (in each drum)?
If it activates only one shoe, is it the leading shoe
or the trailing shoe? (Leading shoe generates more
braking force, right?)
And the leading shoe is the one closer to the front of
the car? I've heard it's called the "leading shoe"
because its leading edge is pushed by the brake
cylinder (the other shoe's trailing edge is pushed by
the brake cylinder) - is that correct?
