OKIt started as a very simple job to remove the screws from the door latch
assemblys in the door jams. As it turns out the < Phillips head screws
were installed with a thread locking compound. I had to drill through the
center of the screw and remove them with a screw extractor.
While doing the last one, the extractor broke flush in the hole. Now, I
have to drill out the extractor, which is extremely hardened steel. I do
not have a bit (in my tool box) that will begin to cut through this
material.
Would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
