Depending on the cost, don't disregard the Mk3 Suzie pointed out on eBay.
That one looks very nice as well! You don't see too many Spits with such
clean looking bulkheads and A posts. So James, the operative question is...
What are you waiting for? ;-)

I went to see a Spit Mk3 today.... almost restored - needs finishing....
this is how it is:
Perfect paint! still needs polishing... but its already really smart....
all the bodywork has been replaced... there isnt a sign of rust.... it
was "gravelex"ed.... including all under the paint... never heard of
this myself before....
Reconditioned engine, gearbox and rad... tasty....
Rechromed chromework...
Its got stuff like wiring in there... lights need putting on, as does
everything on the firewall...
Things it needs: interior trim, carpets and door trim etc.... also needs
an exhaust....
