Hey Everyone,

I finally discovered what type of carbs i have in
my spare parts box, they are HIF-4's. I wonder if
theres any possible way to bolt these things up to a
Spitfire 1500 engine that normally has a Zenith 150??
PLZ tell me it can be done. I like the 1.75" Barrels
on these 2 little carbs :)

plus i also noticed that these carbs dont have a vacum
take off for the vacum advance, any ides of what i can
use, each carb does have a vacum take off for the
crankcase breather, can i use one for the vacum
advance and the other for the breather or will there
be too much vacum??

Henry and Christine, to be on the road again as soon
as she gets a new frame, bonnet, radiator at least...
few other odds and ends to go on the front but thats
all she needs...
