Hi Dave,
I've heard a variety of fixes. Mine stays up on it's on and I have it on
the parking light circuit so it can only turn on when they are on.
Some people put in a seperate switch I believe.
I have also heard of people adding a velcro strap or a clip to hold it up
(this assumes that the switch integrated into the articulating arm works!)
Good luck.

Subject: maplight on/off question
I recently installed a folding maplight in my Spit. Problem is it doesn't
turn
off when folded up (90 degrees). Is there a quick fix to remedy this?
(long
winter....can't wait to start driving agan this Spring and have some real
problems to fix....) TIA
