Everyone:

I wish to send a word of caution about KYB shocks. While they may be
fine for the later cars with long axles, I have discovered that they
aren't so fine on earlier cars with the short axles. The problem is
that they are gas charged and therefore seek to extend themselves to the
top position. This causes the car to develop and retain a positive
camber stance as if the car were jacked up in the rear. It only
compresses when the car is heavily loaded in the rear. Obviously, this
is not a good thing for the early cars.

People have even purchased camber compensators thinking that it would
solve this and were very disappointed when it did not. But changing the
shocks to non-gas charged ones solved the problem.

Cheers,
Joe
