Yesterday the Richmond T/R club had a club cruise (yes by ferry boat) to
"Tangier Island" located in the middle of the Chesapeake Bay, and what a trip
it turned out to be, this island is 5 sq. miles with less than 1 sq. mile of
livable area, 3 restaurants, 1 school, 2 grocery stores, no jail, and no bars,
the population is less than 600 and most of the residents are decendants of
the original settlers, a great trip, and certainly if you are ever in the area
it is worth your time for this trip. Thanks Scott McCombe for a great day.
