Well, my Spit is going through a good work out now. More miles than I usually
do in a week, in one day! From Chingford to Pinewood Studio and back again.
Its using half a tank a day and costing me a bomb, my new tyres are making a
funny squeaking noise, and my suspension seems to be bottoming out on various
parts of the motorway. Thats what going at 80mph around the M25 does (ok,
maybe not all the way, but every now and then, the rest of the time its like
only 5mph). Hey, and Ive found a use for the slow lane - Midgets! For some
reason always in the slow lane....

So, what are the physical and mental effects on myself from this trip? Well,
if it rains, I turn up to work wet (on the first day), at the end of the day,
after spending all day in front of a computer, and then having driven home, my
hands shake and ache like mad. And then I have to spend the rest of the
evening chatting to a few other people, you know who you are! AND I THINK IM
GOING DEAF FROM THE NOISE. I HAVE AN ACHING LEFT FOOT TOO........ well, it is
the M25, lots of clutch....

How long can the car keep it up? Well I have a month left before I give the
car a well deserved break, when I visit Canada for 3 weeks. But until then, my
car will be going through 5 times more work a week. What will break first?
Only time will tell...

More importantly, how long can I keep this up? Well I have a month left before
I give myself a well deserved break, when I visit Canada for 3 weeks. But
until then, my body will be going through 5 times more work a week. What will
break first? Only time will tell...
