Hi Tim and Tami,
thanks for responding. Unfortunately we didn't have the original fan for the
Spit, but hoped to use the Hyundai fan instead.
We went with the easiest solution and decided not to have the fan clutch
installed, thus giving us the necessary clearance. We also wired for an
auxiliary electric fan for future installment.
