I'm sure most Spitfire owners in the area are aware of
the event or have gotten mailed flyers if you've
attended in the past;

BRITAIN ON THE GREEN

April 28, 2002 9am-3pm

The fifth annual event, hosted by the Capital Triumph
Register, is scheduled to kick off the 2002 driving
and show season. The setting is the historic and
beautiful Woodlawn Plantation, its surrounding grounds
and gardens, including nature trails, and the Frank
Lloyd Wright Pope-Leighey House.

All British marques are encouraged to enter. Entries
need not be concours or museum condition. Neatly kept,
daily drivers are welcome.

It's a "popular vote" show. Classes are based on
pre-registration numbers, as well as a category for
Best of Show.

You can check out the Capital Triumph Register for
more information on what will be there and what you
get for registering. Just a note: there is a fee for
spectator parking ($5 per vehicle).
