Marc,
By 1979 FH Spit, I assume that you mean that it is a Euro-spec
car and not a US spec. Due to 'lead memory', whether or not the
head has been converted to unleaded, you shouldn't have a problem.
Rimmer's doesn't differentiate between US and Euro specs for the
valves on 1500 engines, so it looks like there is not problem.
