The chassis would originally have been supplied to Standard-Triumph in Black,
but would have been sparayed in-unit with the fully panelled bodyshell. This
would mean that in the case of your car, all visible areas of the chassis would
have been Wedgwood Blue, with those areas obscured by the body mounting pads
and suchlike left in the black finish,
