Robert you mentioned the cost of new skins. I just bought a brand new pair
of tan houndstooth oem nos seat skins from Matthews Car Parts in Huntsville
Alabama for $149. I got them off ebay, he has a set listed now, and they
rarely go for more than $149. They haven't arrived yet, but should be here
next week if anyone wants more info.
Now, just have to do the seat foam.
Oh, and as for Miatas being too new, they have been out over 12 years, and
it is just as easy to wreck a new car as an old one :)
