I am planning the same job - I was given a pair of MX5 (European name for
the Miata) seats for Xmas, but have been too busy moving house to do the

I am planning to go with Pauls approach, as this will place the seats
slightly lower in the car - being 6'3" this is important for me, plus I like
to sit close to the ground anyway, feels like you are going faster!
