door parts !!!

If it has nothing to do with the window up or down, nothing to do with opening
and closing of the door, then tell my why are steel beams in the doors of my
1978 100% original Spitfire, I guess as some others have posted about paint
colors etc., something the factory had left over and just wanted to get rid
of, only problem it took them 6 years to exhaust the supply <g>  "FT"
