I didn't see that you got a response to this.

First of all, my condolences.

Secondly, could you give us a little more detail as to the
extent of the previous rebuild?   Why was it done?   If due
to prior TW problems, were the damaged areas on the crank and
bearing caps addressed?  Were oversized TWs fitted if necessary?
Is there any chance that the TWs were fitted backwards?  Do you
have any recourse against the rebuilder?  Have you dropped
the oil pan and taken a peek inside to verify what's happened?
