Hi, it's been a couple of years since I last posted to this list, but I
still see a few familiar names and it's wonderful to see so many new
ones. Anyway, with a growing family and another project car filling the
garage, I am rather hesitantly putting FM102150 UOC, my Carmine Red '79
Spitfire 1500 w/ OD up for adoption. The car is a CA spec 1500 with
~92k Miles.

Condition:
Exterior:
The body and frame are excellent with no rust ever, which the reason I
originally bought the car. The paint is rather faded, having been
resprayed at some point prior in the car's life. I had planned on
stripping and repainting her and have all the new trim and seals to
complete the restoration, but lost the time to complete.

Interior:
Recent carpet, NOS beige hounds tooth seat covers, new foams. Dash top
needs coverlay.

Suspension:
Recent gas shocks, all new U joints, new rear trunion kits, misc.
polyurethane bushings, 175/70 R13 Pirellis on the stock 13x5.5 wheels.
All less than 2k miles. Could use an alignment.

Engine:
Stock internals, header, aftermarket cat, recent air pump, Lucas
electronic ignition (stock), new plug wires, all hoses recent, rebuilt
carb with working water choke. Runs well. Passes emissions testing with
flying colors. I replaced the thrust bearings when I did the clutch,
but the originals were still in. Includes a set of bottom end and rod
bearings that were not needed.

Transmission:
New clutch and seals. The transmission was cleaned detailed and painted
when removed. Clutch master and slave rebuilt. Overdrive working fine.

Electrical:
Excellent. Everything works, no modifications or damage to any harness.
New turn signal/ wiper switch. Stereo with cassette and new Pioneer 4"
speakers in new stock panels (no cutting).

Other bits:
Hard top, boot cover, two tonneaus, lots of misc. spares.

The car is located in Arvada, CO, a suburb of Denver. Price is best
reasonable offer to a good home. Pictures are available. Overall the
car is currently an excellent driver that could be mint with a good
respray and some TLC.
