I'm trying to replace my fuel pump today but I'm having a terrible time
removing it from the block. I've removed the two nuts and spring
washers. The unit slides back and forth on the bolts ok, but it seems that
the angle of the pump is so steep that I can't remove it from the
block! There is a spacer installed and I have loosened that from the block
so it slides freely also. Any suggestions?
