Hi All,
Am attempting to stop the flood of oil out of my valve cover by
replacing a very old gasket, but have found that new gaskets from two
different sources do not fit up into the well or indentation in the lip
of the valve cover. Is this the way it is supposed to be as it does not
seem to provide for a very snug fit on the gasket? And what's the
consensus on using gasket sealant in this application - yea or nay?
