Luke, You can't judge the car model (in the Early Spit continuum, at least) by
the engine number. The reason is that there were many more engines
built than cars. I have seen late Mk1 models with engine numbers above 50000.
Check the commission plate. That is the ONLY way to be sure what the
model is!
