Rachel,
We use Armor-all protectorant on the vinyl. Put it on a soft cloth first and
rub it in until shiny.
For the wood, it depends on what condition it is in. If it is dry and faded,
use a good furniture oil and again put on cloth first and let it soak in.
You would be surprised how nice it can look after that!
We also use a product called No Touch Tire Care on the tires. You just spray
it on and wait until the foam disappears. It really shines up the rubber!
Now, I will admit to a big no-no, I almost made. Our spit became quite dusty
sitting in the garage for a long time and so I thought I would "dust it"!
Brad nearly had a heart attack as he explained that I could scratch the
paint job. Oops!
Before all of you fellas who are cringing out there; (I hear you mumbling),
state,"That's why my wife never gets near my car!" We wives can take
correction quite well and I for one will never make that mistake again! I
will also probably never live that down, but I have found a great enjoyment
out of working on the car and highly recommend it as a "couples activity"!
Best wishes,
Kristi
