Hmmmm. Sounds like someone used it to terminate a vacuum
leak^H^H^Hine so the Environmental Police Agents see the right thing

Actually, the lever should be secured to the base plate which should
move about the center of the distributor as the vacuum increases and
decreases. If you have a MityVac or something like that, hook it to
the nipple on the vac actuator and give it a try. From your
description, it sounds like it should work OK.
