Well, I'll start with the bad: My company went Chapter
11 this afternoon which means I'll probably be
unemployed in a week (We were warned it was coming. Oh
well).
The Good: after adjusting the valves on the #2
cylinder, the car's idle had changed (probably because
of the added back pressure and necessity of carb
balance and tuning). But I pulled the #2 plug
and...the idle dropped! I repeated the process with
the others (even though none of the other valves
required readjustment) and all caused the idle to
drop. Whew! After a rebalance and tune of the carbs, I
took it out for a spin and the car is running as well
as it did last summer. (and to think I'd just had the
valves adjusted 2 years ago!)
The not so ugly: My car's modified grill that I put on
last weekend. The added rows fill-up the space left by
the MIA bumper...
