It's very simple to install a top. It's not so simple to install
a top _properly_, at least not for me. I've done it 3 times and have
yet to get a water tight, draft free seal around the door glass.
(The good news is that I'm more in touch with nature than those
wimps driving around in dry, warm cars.) I think that a professional
can make adjustments for the minor fit and finish issues in a way
that I cannot. Where do you keep the car? If it's generally
garaged, have a go at it yourself. If left outside regularly in
heavy weather, you may want to consider letting the pros install it.
(I would also ask around to see who has a good reputation in this
kind of work)
Good luck!
