Dear All,
Some of you have been following the problems I have had with Rimmer
Brothers over the past few months (full details on the Spitfire Diary
webpage: http://www.hargreave-mawson.demon.co.uk/Spitdiary.html ), but
today they outdid themselves. In place of two foam rubber pads for the
rear of my Spitfire 1500 hard-top, they sent two machined aluminium
castings. These look as though they are part of some sort of locking
mechanism, but are definitely not from a Spitfire door-lock.
There is a small prize (of two machined aluminium castings) for the
first person correctly to identify these items, and to have a use for
