Welcome to the list David and don't worry , everyone has been patient with
me so far :-) , so it should be the same with you .
IMHO there's nothing wrong with the reliability of Triumphs , but as with
most older vehicles , you can not neglect your car . If you take care of it
, it will take care of you . Nothing serious , just routine maintenance .
I'm not saying that you must buy this particular Spitfire , but I can not
think of a reason why you shouldn't buy a Triumph ( Spitfire , Herald , TR
or any of the other Triumph models ) . Buy a Triumph and drive in style !
They are so much fun .
Kind regards .

Subject: Spitfire: To buy or not to buy...
Hi-
This is my first post to this list, and I know very little about
Triumphs, so I hope you'll all be patient with me. I understand Triumphs are
not famous for being ultra-reliable, Is there any reason I shouldn't buy
this car? David
