If the top is down like it's supposed to be, you won't NEED the zipper. My
top is only up during a rain STORM, in which case a zippered window is
pointless anyway.
I just thought this all out as I just ordered my new top as well. I went
with Caribou Canvas. $219. An acceptable price. I ordered it in Feb (the
22nd). I'll be sure to report when I get it.

I was wondering if the convertible top for the '70-'71 spitfire (with the
zippered window) will fit the '69 Spitfire (which doesn't come with a
zippered window)?
I'm in need of a new top, since the one I have is for the Herald/Vitesse
convertible (which is for sale BTW), and I think I'd like the zippered
window version better if it fits my car.
Any opinions or experiences anyone can share? Is the zippered window worth
it?
