Does anyone know on the 1500 series cars (1975) how the metal "Spitfire
15500" badges were attached?
Are there a couple of holes that the badges have "pins" that they fit into
and they are kept there by some kind of lug attachment from the rear, or is
it a double-sided adhesive attachment of some sort?
I can see no holes from inspection on the front and the rear lid is
impossible to inspect.
I would like to remove these as they are worn and damaged.
They are also mismatched pairs, as the front is the "Spitfire" word out of
the bullseye logo -- sans "bullseye"
I want to replace with the decal type and am looking for help on the above
TIA
Cheers,
