there is a company listed in hemmings called "snake oyl products" i believe
it is. i do remember their advertising new webbing in colors but do not
recall their doing the rewebbing work. forthe "vintage car crowd" seat
belts are a rather new thing. and belts with retractors welllllll, they
are just a new fangled fancy thing. unfortunatly i fear that there are not
a lot of business's that would be rebuilding seat belts just based upon
shear number of diffrent designs and insurance liability if failure occured
after rebuilding. the racing belt industry will re-web a set of their own
belts but not another manufacturers belts due to the possibility of failure
in materials/hardware that are not of their specific manufacture.(and
then..pyrotect wich is bell refused to reweb a set i had due to their
changing hardware suppliers and the set i had was no longer in their
inventory.....so i turned them in to simpson as a trade for a discount on my
new cam loc set for the 1959/60 saab sedan!) i needed a real nice
turquoise left retractor for the restoration of my wife's 67 impala fast
back 5 years ago and was lucky enough to find the exact color belt from an
impala restoration specialist. now i would think that lbc belts that are
from any era in good serviceable shape are going to be difficult to locate.
they were frequently ignored tucked under seats and got wet frequently wich
has ruined many sets long before the seat belt laws came into play(at least
here in the north east).

chuck.
