Speaking of "drive resistors" ...

I have noticed that when the "drive resistor" is not present, my passenger 
seat rattles on its tracks.

I have removed the seat and lubricated the slider tracks, but the problem 
comes back after a few months. Is there a way to permanently stop the 
rattling, short of having the "drive resistor" in place all the time?

[2] OE drive resistor removed with installation of Crane ignition.
