I didn't have a firm price, I was originally expecting around $250 to $300.
The reason I had him do them is I saw a pair of Jensen Healey seats he did
for my friend and they were incredible. Having to do it again, I would
defineately do it myself.

Pat,
Did you know in advance that it was going to cost you $400? If so, I think
that I would have made the decision to do it myself. I
covered the 1500 seats that I have in Huxley with a set of houndstooth
covers I got from BPNW for something like $225. I had to
replace a couple of foam pieces in the backs and the head rests, but in the
end, the seats are perfect and I still got out under the
$400 you spent.

I don't know what options you have at this time. Distance is the main
problem. Otherwise, if it were me, I'd take them back and get
my money back.
