I've read where people have used volkswagen, GM
aluminum (shortened) and custom multiple-core
radiators in their spitfires.
I notice that most aluminum radiators run in the $300+
range and that's for a standard Ford/GM size (which is
bit pricey when you throw in the assundries).
Anyone have suggestions for a contemporary stock car
which uses an aluminum radiator that will fit a
spitfire's 22"-24" wide bracket, or some other set-up
(e.g. using a specific wider radiator with a different
bracket/mounting) to fit in the same space, and same
general locations for plumbing (upper left inlet,
lower right outlet)?
