Who has had their inner tie rod ends stripped down?
I was inspecting and relubing mine and noticed that
the balls are not concentric on the rods (don't go
there!). At first I thought it might have been
tweaked in an accident, but upon inspection I can't
see any cracks, stretching or deformation.
Looks like they machined the ball, then brazed or
welded it to the rod afterwards.
Anyone seen the same thing?
