Turbo running 14 psi (2 bar) would approx double the
HP, so figure 120-150 HP. Stock cam, compression, etc.
Problems are reliability and driveability.
For reliability, prepping the crank, rods, bearings
etc. to comp manual specs will help. Limiting the RPM
will help a bunch, with a well matched turbo you
should not need to use high RPM. But there are other
issues, head gaskets, cooling, detonation.
Driveability is hard to do with carbs and mechanical
controls. Electronic engine management is really the
way to go, fuel injection, spark management, etc.
Lot's of off the shelf goodies out there to do the job
well, cheap and easy to find ( even on eBay! ). The
biggest custom piece I'm looking at is the turbo
exhaust header. I just cannot package the stock iron
manifold to the T-25 turbo within the confines of the
Spit engine compartment.
