Well, it's already done now. I'm using flat top pistons, and the milling was
only 70/1000" , not a whole lot, most of it just to even things out. I have
had valve interference problems with domed pistons in the past. The 1500
Performance manual talks about 200/1000". And if 9.5 to 1 is too much, just
double the gaskets. Used to do that a lot way back when. There seems to be
enough adjustment for the pushrods, I really won't know till it's assembled.
Fortunately with these engines, there are several ways to accomplish the
desired result. Hey, all I'm looking for is 225-250 hp, just like the Honda
S2000 (VBG). !!
