Hi Ron,
You'd be better off finding a second car with a good O/D and poor cosmetics 
for around $500-1500.  Switch trannys and resell the 2nd car for $400-$1400.  
Add up what new stuff would cost (and check the fine print to see if the free 
shipping covers trannys-I don't think so) and see what the difference would 
be.  You might have to wait a year to find the right car, but they are 
popping up all the time.
