O/D Conversion

I am going to replace my non O/D trans with an O/D trans on my 78 Spitfire.
It looks like there are 2 different propeller shafts for O/D and non O/D.
What is the difference?  I know of several parts cars that might still have
the propeller shafts but I don't know how to identify the correct one I will
need.
