I gapped them to .042 and installed last night.
Drove it to work this AM, seems to run much smoother than the old Deutsch
plugs.
Since I shaved the head I can't get the timing anywhere near 8 degrees.
I'm around 13 right now.
When I creep it farther to TDC it starts to lay down on me at high revs.

Bosch recommends using a wire-type feeler, and a claw-type gapper-thingy
that just grabs and bends the ground electrode. The platinum centre
electrode can be damaged by scraping a wedge-type gapper along it, or prying
the plug open.
