Craig, I recently put a Crane PS20 40kv coil with ballast in my 76.

Crane recommended 35-45 thou. for the plug gap. I set at 44 thou (easiest with
my feeler guages and she runs fine. I think Pat is running 40 thou in his (
email downloads at home, and I'm at work so can only see current mail.)

Just bought me some new Bosch Platinum

I'm running the Mallory Chrome coil with ballast.

I have had the head shaved .020

Running the original Stromberg carb.

Have a long Flow header installed with Monza exhaust

What is the lists recommendation for a gap on the plug ?
Plus, if I do open it up, what is the best way to do it ?
The electrode looks like a screwdriver stuck in it will break it. This is my
first time with Platinum plugs and they look a little different on the
business end.
