Ever think of putting a V-8 air pump on these California spits to get
through the smog tests? One of those baby's should blow enough fresh air in
there to thin out any exhaust. Just a thought.

Hello all,
I'm going to change the set of "ABT" needles that are in my twin 1 1/2 SU's
on my '78 1500 to see if I can get it to squeak through the smog test. I'm
thinking of going to the "ADN"'s which were in the last years of UK version
spits. Has anybody else used these needles? Or another size?
I've leaned the current needles out as much as I can, and I still can't get
it under the 434pts/million HCO2 that I need. So this is the last option
before single carb swap(YUCK!)
Thanks,

Ron
