vacuum unit

Does anyone know if the vacuum unit for a mkIII GT6 is the same as the
unit for a '74 Spitfire 1500 with the delco distributor. The hose for
the Spitfire unit wraps around the front of the engine and attaches to a
port on the vacuum unit which faces toward the rear of the engine. Or if
anyone knows where I can get a working vacuum unit for the Spitfire
please let me know.
