As an alternative, consider turning down the steel flywheel you already have.
Be very cautious about using an aluminum flywheel, the metal galls easily,
destroying controllable clutch action and the clutch disc. You pretty much
need a steel surface for the disc to ride against if you want the flywheel to
last, especially if the vehicle will be street driven.

New VB catalog has this beautiful Aluminum flywheel (inside back cover), only
downside appears to be the$500 price tag. A question for the racers or those
of you that seem to have a machine shop in the garage: How hard would it be
to make one of these? What would it cost? Are there any alternatives? What
would they cost?
