wire wheels

Hi
I have question regarding  radial tires & wire wheels.  I just picked a
replacement wire wheel for one that was bent for my TR3 and tried to have
the tire swaped.  The one shop I took it to said that they can not put a
tube inside of a radial tire.  Are there special radial tube?  Any input
before would I start calling around to other shops would be appreciated.
