I am still having trouble with this. I have replaced the temp and am
replacing the fuel with a matching one. The stabilizer will no longer be
necessary, problem any ideas on how to by pass this in the wiring all
together????

Jason,
The wiring is pretty straight forward. The Haynes manual is an excellent
source to consult on the issue. The main components are:
Voltage Stabilizer (controls both fuel and temp gauges)
Sending unit in the tank
The gauge itself.
If you find that any of these components are bad, I can help you with all
three pieces.
