I just wish my gas gauge worked! Does anyone have a good handle on the
wiring specs for the fuel gauge and the sending unit on a spit?

Thanks,
Jason

Subject: Gas guage alignment?

I learned the hard way this morning that even though my gas guage reads
1/8th of a tank left, I'm empty. Fortunately, I started to conk out a few
hundred yards from a gas station, was able to flip a U turn to head back
towards it and only had to push the car about 100 yards before I could coast
the rest of the way. When the power is off, the needle falls well below
empty. What do I need to do? Adjust the float on the sending unit?

TIA

Best wishes,

Jeff in San Diego
