Speaking of 5 speed transmissions-years ago in Italy, I test drove a TR6 with
an Alfa Spyder 5 speed transmission in it-and it was really wonderful! Like
buttuh!
Yes, I am happy with my 4 speed-98% of the time. And I do do freeway driving.
Like I said-I've never had a Spit with o/d (though I had a boyfriend in '80 who
had a brand new Spit with an o/d). The transmission in Nigel feels and works
great-if it ain't broke, why fix it?
