This type of seatbelt was made by a company called "American Safety Equipment".
Sometimes going under the name of ASE or Cummings and
Sander division of ASE. They are the old Airline style sealtbelts that have a
large chrome buckle that is pulled to release.
Mostly, they had either a square indentation in which square foil insert with
the Triumph shield was positioned. The alternate style
had a smaller round indentation and a different colored Triumph shield.
I have made decals that will replace either of these decals that have been
damaged over time. Also, if anyone can find the more common
flat buckle generic belts, the decals give these a much more "Stock" look.
These belts were found on Triumphs dating back to the start of the 60's and
were even used on some of the earlier TR's as add-on
equipment.
